Last Wednesday, WNY Works for Women co-hosted an evening of crafting and networking at Creative Essence in Clarence.
When we arrived at the studio, Owners Tammy and Michele had a wonderful spread laid out for us. From mini pizzas to sushi, cookies to candy, not to mention all of the wine, they were ready for us. Each women helped themselves, and mingled around the shop. We had the opportunity to check out all of the amazing crafts that Creative Essence offerers, as well as make new friends with everyone in attendance.
When it came time to craft, we had the opportunity to choose between making a pair of beaded earrings or a felted soap holder. After receiving step by step directions, we let our imaginations get to work. The women all came up with wonderful creations and had a blast while doing so.
All of us are so excited to get back into Creative Essence to work on other crafting projects, just being in the studio was an inspiration to the imagination. It is the perfect place to take a group of women as a bonding experience, or a group of kids for a birthday party. A few of us even talked about taking our mothers on Mothers Day weekend.
